I know I have been away for a long time, but the recent incidents that happened in Karachi have forced me to come back, write and create an impact on the change in our society which is moving towards a much darker side. I am aware that I am not that of an influencer but this is the least I can do to express myself and my grievances.
There are people who have talked on the abduction incident of Dua Mangi and Haris Fatah much better than what I can write. So, this article will be in the context of those influential talks and opinions.
But firstly, we should understand what exactly the case is. It was just a random night, around mid-night when Dua Mangi and Haris Fateh were coming home holding hands on the streets of DHA, Karachi. And suddenly a dark grey Civic stopped and tried to kidnap Dua while her friend Haris resisted and was shot in the neck and Dua was abducted. Couple of yards aways a Rikshaw driver heard gunshots and called the police. This is all that's fact and all other is just rumors or speculations.
After the incident, Dua's family registered an FIR complaint and turned to social media to get any sort of help and within a few hours, it became national news.
The worst part of the social media awareness was people started stalking both the young victims and drawing the conclusion to whether they deserve it or not. Here I am attaching the links of the people trying to restore humanity in Pakistani nation and disowning the people who are in support of kidnappers or making fun/memes on the incident.
